Kuwait Touristic Enterprises Company has officially inaugurated the renovated Messila Beach, transforming it into a premier internal tourist destination for families in Kuwait as of October 29, 2025. The revamped beach now offers a comprehensive range of modern amenities designed to appeal to citizens, residents, and visitors alike, including water sports, swimming pools, landscaped recreational areas, multiple restaurants, cafes, shops, and a large function hall.
The redevelopment spans over 70,000 square meters and also features extensive parking facilities, children’s play zones, and sports fields to create a vibrant and inclusive environment for all age groups.
The renovation included complete demolition of the old facilities and construction of new infrastructure with a focus on sustainability and quality. Messila Beach has become one of the flagship recreational destinations, aiming to set new standards for family entertainment and leisure in Kuwait. The site’s prime location ensures direct beach access, with amenities open year-round.
Management and operation of the new Messila Beach have been handed to United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC) under a long-term agreement, supporting further tourism growth and economic diversification in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.
Officials highlighted the importance of the renovated Messila Beach in advancing Kuwait’s tourism infrastructure and enhancing quality of life for its citizens. The project is expected to boost local economic activity, attract more visitors, and invigorate the hospitality sector.
Dedicated efforts continue to ensure that this facility delivers a premium experience, reflecting global standards in family entertainment and sustainability.
Messila Beach is now positioned as a must-visit destination, providing residents and tourists with new opportunities for recreation and social engagement, and is celebrated as a key milestone in Kuwait’s ongoing tourism development strategy.
Messilah Beach currently does not charge a mandatory entry fee for general access, making it accessible to all visitors after its recent renovation in October 2025.
